4 Stories is the result of a live stream concert that both had recorded in the summer of 2021. Already before the recording it was clear that the 4 tracks Gradient, Sepia, Polyaural and Ultra should get an overall structure across pieces, which have not been heard so far. The mixture of sequential dark ambient and mechanized droning, combined with pianoresque phrases and deep pads can Baltes&Erbe like hardly any other electronic band.
